Our greatest assets are men and the following show the sterling qualities of the partners, albeit in low profile.

Philip O Oluwi

Joined the firm in July 1973 as an Audit Trainee after successfully completing a two–year diploma course at The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

He had earlier attended Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure and later qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1978.

He was our Training Manager from 1982 until he was admitted into partnership in 1984.

Mr Oluwi became the Managing Partner of the firm on 1 April 2002.

“Bishop”, as he is fondly referred to participates effectively in evangelical work.
Over the years, he has specialized in Insurance, Publishing and Oil audits.

Currently, in addition to the overall administration of the practice, he supervises the Insolvency department along with the audit of our clients in the oil and gas industry.

He was the Treasurer of Nigeria British Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as Vice President.

 

Joseph O Asaolu

Attended Ekiti Parapo College, Iddo-Ekiti. He joined the firm as an articled clerk in July 1973 and got qualified in 1978.

He was admitted as a partner in 1985 after serving as a training manager for one year.

‘Dipo is one of the core production partners in the firm. Until recently,he was in charge of the internal administration of the firm as the Administration Partner. In addition, he has under his audit portfolio a wide spectrum of clients specializing in the insurance, transportation, service and investment industries.
He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Shomolu-West, Lagos.

 

Michael O Oladotun

Born in 1951, he was a product of Ogbomoso Grammar School, The Polytechnic, Ibadan and Yaba College of Technology, in that order. He joined the firm in March 1977, qualified same year, and was admitted a partner in 1986.

He was in charge of the Ilorin office from 1979 to 1986, and was the Resident Partner for Kaduna office, with concurrent accreditation to all northern states of Nigeria from 1986 to 1990. He was the Editor-in Chief of our house journal, Tick Magazine for twenty years (1990 - 2010).

Mr Oladotun has served as President of Kaduna Central Lions Club, Vice President of The Country Club Ilorin.

He had been a Council member and Honorary Treasurer of the Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind and a Council member of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria (IMCON) and West African Federation of Institutes of Administration and Management Consultants (WAFIAMC).

In recognition of his flair for consultancy work, he has served as the Chief Executive of our sister company, Balogun Badejo Consulting Limited since April, 1990.

 

James  O Obogwu

He attended St Paul’s Grammar School, Ebu and University of Benin, Benin City, where he bagged a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Employed as a Trainee in January 1990, he rose through the ranks to become a Partner on 1 April, 2005.

JOO is our Taxation Partner who handles all our clients’ income tax matters together with supervision of a number of small and medium sized audit clients. He also serves as The Administration Partner and is the current Editor-In-Chief of our in-house Tick Magazine.

 

Everestus U Itodo

Everest, as popularly called by friends, was born in 1973.

He attended Ifruoka Primary School Amalla–Udenu LGA in Enugu State, Government Day Secondary School, Kaduna and St. Theresa’s College Nsukka.

EUI obtained BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK and is an associatet member of The Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Before joining the firm in January 2006, he had worked with Mu’Allahyidi & Co, (Chartered Accountants), Supertex Limited; and Union Adhessive & Chemical Company Limited, all in Kaduna. He rose to the position of Audit Manager in the firm on 1 April, 2008 and was admitted a Partner on the 40th Anniversary of the firm on 1 April 2009.

Mr. Itodo currently serves as the Firm's Finance Partner.
 
Ayodele M Adetuyi

Mr. Adetuyi attended Egan High School Ojo, Lagos and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.

He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Before joining BBc in 2006, he had worked with A A Consultants; Royal Value International Limited and Oladeji Olagunju & Co (Chartered Accountants), where he rose to the position of an Audit Manager.

Mr. Adetuyi also has the passion of imparting knowledge, and currently serves as Director of Studies at Foresight Professional Institute Lagos, an ICAN Study Centre.

He is a member of Ikoyi Club.

AMA was admitted a Partner on 1 October, 2010.
